Advisor, Startup Banking

About the role

Rho is seeking an Advisor to drive new business for its modern banking platform targeting startups and growth‑stage companies. You will generate leads, build relationships, and close mid‑market accounts across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect middle‑market businesses to generate new opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to maximize retention and upsell.
• Conduct market research to spot industry trends and target prospects.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Success, and Sales Development teams to align banking solutions with client needs.
• Monitor sales activities, market trends, and competitor actions, providing insights for improvement.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demos.
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to expand the professional network.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience, preferably selling business banking or credit‑card products.
• Proven track record selling to SMBs/Middle‑Market companies (revenues $20M+).
• Strong local market network and experience with cold‑calling and hunting new business.
• Ability to navigate complex sales processes involving C‑suite stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Base salary $83,000‑$115,000 with OTE $126,000‑$220,000.
