Advanced Practice RN/Physician Assistant – Urology Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Urology Clinic in Little Rock. This full‑time, onsite position supports a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality urologic care to patients across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient assessment, diagnosis, and management for urologic conditions.
• Perform routine urology procedures and assist with surgeries as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, postoperative care, and preventive health.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted APRN or PA license in the United States.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. on the first day of employment.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably within urology or related specialties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
