Accounting Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods

About the role

Beast Industries is building an in‑house accounting function for its consumer packaged goods (CPG) businesses, including Feastables. As the Accounting Manager you will lead GAAP‑compliant reporting, inventory accounting, and scalable financial operations across the CPG portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute core accounting processes: billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Manage the monthly close, compliance reporting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Partner with supply‑chain and cross‑functional leaders to provide actionable financial insights.
• Support external audits, maintain regulatory and banking compliance, and safeguard balance‑sheet integrity.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable financial systems, controls, and processes, primarily within NetSuite.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accounting professional with a strong technical foundation and a builder mentality.
• Experience managing full‑cycle accounting for CPG or similar product‑based businesses.
• Proven ability to identify financial risks and opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Track record of improving close processes and supporting system implementations.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP for inventory and financial management.
