Accounting Instructor – Full‑time Faculty Position

About the role

The Business Department seeks a full‑time Accounting Instructor to join its faculty. This position involves delivering college‑level accounting courses and contributing to the academic community through curriculum development and student support.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses.
• Participate in the design and revision of curriculum and instructional materials.
• Conduct assessments, grade assignments, and evaluate student performance.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Assist with registration, recruitment, retention, and outreach activities.
• Serve on departmental and college committees and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Accounting, or a doctorate/master's degree in Business with at least 18 graduate semester hours in accounting.
• Preferred concentrations include management and marketing.
• Experience teaching college‑level accounting or related business courses is preferred.
