About the role
The Account Development Specialist for Summit County will lead sales for the Spirits portfolio within a targeted account base. Reporting to the sales leadership team, you will be responsible for growing market share and velocity of assigned brands through strategic activations, relationship management and data‑driven insights.
Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share for the assigned Spirits portfolio, spending roughly 80 % of time in‑market.
- Act as the expert consultant for key accounts, presenting new products, conducting monthly business reviews and developing beverage menu solutions.
- Plan and execute high‑end consumer activations and brand events to increase category awareness.
- Gather and analyse real‑time market insights, translating them into actionable growth plans.
- Collaborate with on‑premise and retail sales teams to create creative solutions that boost category performance.
- Develop and deliver training modules for sales teams, customers and suppliers on sales trends and product knowledge.
- Maintain strong relationships with gatekeepers and stakeholders across the account base.
- Prepare and own account plans, merchandising objectives and distribution strategies aligned with brand priorities.
Required profile
- Current associate of Breakthru, eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
- Full‑time availability with a willingness to spend the majority of time in the field.
- Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key account stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret market trends and drive growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
