About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Alexandria, MN. You will be responsible for welding frames and component parts for automated packaging systems, ensuring high quality and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding and cutting equipment proficiently.
• Build and maintain welding fixtures.
• Interpret and apply weld symbols on drawings.
• Read and understand blue‑prints to fabricate machine frames and parts.
• Perform welding and cutting tasks without supervision while meeting quality standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Stay current with new welding techniques and support the checkout process.
• Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
