Warehouse Operator – Pharmacy Department (Shift 1)

About the role

The Warehouse Operator II supports the Pharmacy Department by safely operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment on the 1st shift (6:00 AM‑2:30 PM). The role ensures accurate shipping and receiving, maintains inventory integrity, and contributes to a well‑organized warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying shipments against bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and update inventory management systems.
• Organize storage areas, label materials, and ensure easy accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment following safety guidelines.
• Assist with general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow safety procedures, SOPs, GMPs, and Nestlé’s Life‑Saving Rules.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and perform typical warehouse tasks.
• Proficiency with basic digital devices such as computers or iPads.
