Vision Care Inside Sales Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager to lead its Vision Care Inside Sales team. The role focuses on developing Inside Service Representatives and Inside Account Managers, preparing them for field Account Manager positions while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor IAMs and ISRs through a structured development path toward Account Manager roles.
• Conduct regular in‑field co‑travels to observe, coach, and give real‑time feedback on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Hold bi‑weekly 1:1 meetings with each team member to discuss performance, professional growth, and challenges.
• Perform quarterly business reviews, identify performance gaps, and create actionable improvement plans.
• Collaborate with senior sales leadership, regional directors, marketing, and sales operations to align projects with strategic priorities.
• Provide quarterly business updates and insights to senior leadership and regional teams.
• Recruit and develop new talent for the Inside Sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading inside sales teams in a medical or vision‑care environment.
• Strong ability to coach, develop, and transition sales talent to field roles.
• Excellent communication and performance‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel for in‑field coaching and cross‑functional meetings.
