UI Visual Designer Specialist – Remote Worldwide

About the role

We are looking for a UI Visual Designer Specialist to join our team remotely and help shape the visual language of our digital products. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to evaluate, improve, and document user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Critically evaluate existing user interfaces, identifying strengths and weaknesses in visual and interaction design.
• Craft structured, well‑reasoned written rationales for design decisions and document recommendations.
• Develop and articulate principles, patterns, and guidelines that underpin robust design systems.
• Review, refine, and document component libraries to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
• Create clear, visually engaging mockups using Figma, applying best practices in color, typography, spacing, and responsive design.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation that communicates decisions and rationale to diverse audiences.
• Ensure accessibility standards and usability are addressed in both visual design and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in UI, visual, or product design with a strong digital portfolio.
• Deep expertise in typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, layout, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience documenting design systems or writing component guidelines with persuasive rationales.
• Strong written communication skills to explain complex design choices clearly and analytically.
