Telco OSS Java Developer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Telco OSS Java Developer to join its Engineering unit in the United States. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining telecom OSS/BSS applications using modern Java technologies and cloud-native platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements for assigned modules.
• Participate in design discussions, capture decisions, and guide the technical team.
• Develop new features and enhance existing applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Provide user training, documentation, and support for smooth application adoption.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Experience translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Hands‑on coding expertise with a proactive testing and troubleshooting mindset.
