Technician III – Laboratory Support (Houston)

About the role

HMH is seeking a Technician III to support engineering activities in its Houston laboratory. The role involves building, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment while ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) and quality programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with HSE, quality, and company policies.
• Participate in product development and qualification activities.
• Document products and technical data according to engineering procedures.
• Use laboratory equipment such as ePIMS, schematics, hand and torque tools, and pressure fittings.
• Support housekeeping and HSSE program adherence.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
• Completed Pressure Safety Fundamentals Course and Hydrostatic Test Training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ePIMS software.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, torque tools, and pressure fittings.
• Knowledge of pressure safety fundamentals and hydrostatic testing.
• Basic computer skills.
