Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Technician in Facility Services General Maintenance to ensure the safety, functionality and appearance of our facilities, equipment and vehicles. The role involves routine preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and coordination with contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Inspect, clean and repair facilities, equipment, fixtures and vehicles.
• Document wear, repair needs, capital expenses and preventive maintenance activities.
• Operate and maneuver heavy machinery such as forklifts and material‑handling equipment safely.
• Manage work orders, maintenance logs, parts ordering and warranty claims.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations and company quality standards.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, transport equipment between sites and maintain company vehicles.
• Lead and participate in maintenance teams, providing guidance and feedback.

Required profile

• Experience in facility or general maintenance and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Capability to operate heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to manage work orders and parts inventory.
• Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
