Technical Program Manager, Consumer

About the role

Cape is America’s privacy‑first mobile carrier, building a secure network from the ground up. As the first Technical Program Manager for the consumer division, you will create the processes and rituals that enable fast, high‑impact delivery across product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Reduce friction and streamline workflows across engineering and product teams.
• Proactively communicate and resolve risks before they impact progress.
• Own Jira hygiene, sprint planning, and ticket triage for high‑volume work streams.
• Run stand‑ups and cross‑functional syncs to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Go deep on technical details, partnering daily with engineers to unblock them.
• Clarify priorities and ownership across functional and deployment teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Strong autonomy, partnership, pragmatism, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Background as a software engineer or comparable hands‑on technical experience.
• Ability to understand technically complex systems and explain them clearly.
• Experience triaging and prioritizing a high volume of tickets, bugs, and feature requests.
