About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks a Teaching Assistant Professor in Human Physiology to join the Department of Biological Sciences on a fixed‑term, non‑tenure track basis. This full‑time faculty position involves delivering undergraduate courses, supervising laboratory sessions, and contributing to the department’s academic mission.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Human Physiology courses, including lectures and labs.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Grade assignments, exams, and provide timely feedback to students.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Human Physiology or a closely related field.
