Tax Senior – Remote (100% Remote)

About the role

We are a growing full‑spectrum tax firm based in Sacramento, CA, seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our remote team. You will work with complex pass‑through entities for high‑net‑worth clients, delivering high‑quality tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple, complex tax engagements for partnerships and S‑Corporations.
• Prepare and review federal and state returns for entities and their owners.
• Research tax issues using CCH and respond to IRS or other authority inquiries.
• Develop proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with team members while maintaining high ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience, preferably at a Big 4 firm.
• CPA license or actively pursuing certification.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tax matters to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• CCH tax software proficiency.
