About the role

As a Surgical Registered Nurse at Asante Ashland you will join a small, dedicated surgical team delivering high‑quality patient care across multiple specialties. This part‑time position (0.5 FTE) offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work closely with doctors, fellow nurses, and techs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional personal care to patients undergoing surgery.
• Collaborate with a cohesive, small‑team environment.
• Assist in multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, general, GYN, plastics/reconstructive, and urology.
• Support surgeons, RN colleagues, and operating‑room technicians throughout procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Recent perioperative nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.

Required skills
