About the role

The Delgado‑Calle lab at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a summer student to join its research team. This short‑term position provides hands‑on experience in physiology and cell biology within a clinical research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory experiments and data collection.
• Maintain and organize lab equipment and supplies.
• Perform literature reviews and summarize findings.
• Document experimental procedures and results.
• Participate in team meetings and present progress.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student with interest in physiology or cell biology.
• Available to work full‑time during the summer period.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or holds an approved medical/religious exemption.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
