About the role
The Delgado‑Calle lab at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a summer student to join its research team. This short‑term position provides hands‑on experience in physiology and cell biology within a clinical research environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with laboratory experiments and data collection.
- Maintain and organize lab equipment and supplies.
- Perform literature reviews and summarize findings.
- Document experimental procedures and results.
- Participate in team meetings and present progress.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student with interest in physiology or cell biology.
- Available to work full‑time during the summer period.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or holds an approved medical/religious exemption.
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Required skills
- Basic laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to record and manage experimental data.
