Software Engineering Intern

About the role

Join RIB’s technology team as a Software Engineering Intern and work on AI‑driven features for the SpecLink platform. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and AI specialists to build microservices and proof‑of‑concept solutions that add real value for users.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code for AI applications and integrate machine‑learning models into SpecLink.
• Develop data pipelines for reliable data ingestion and transformation.
• Analyze model performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and optimise models for speed and accuracy.
• Clean, label, and pre‑process large datasets for training and evaluation.
• Experiment with AI techniques such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive modelling.
• Contribute to research and development of innovative AI solutions.
• Test, debug, and ensure high‑quality performance of software and AI components.
• Document code, development processes, and model specifications.
• Prepare concise reports and demos for the team.
• Participate in agile development ceremonies.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI, machine learning, and software development.
