Service Technician – The Fletcher Southlands

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for the Fletcher Southlands community in Aurora. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Attention to detail in completing work orders, inspections, and documentation.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and manage inventory responsibly.
