Service Technician – Canyon Reserve at the Ranch

About the role

The Service Technician will maintain the physical aspects of the Canyon Reserve at the Ranch property, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and OSHA training.
• Ability to inspect work performed by contractors and vendors to verify quality and compliance.
• Willingness to conduct routine property inspections and report physical needs to management.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant handling.
• EPA Type II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
