Senior Software Engineer – Digital Payments

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of digital payment products. The role will involve working on critical projects that leverage Pivotal Cloud Foundry and a micro‑service architecture to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy high‑quality, secure code in a modular and functional style.
• Maintain and improve production systems, manage incidents, identify root causes and implement remediation.
• Select appropriate frameworks and delivery methodologies, adapt technical templates, and contribute to solution road‑maps.
• Research, evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to optimise services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide peer code reviews and feedback, and ensure compliance with standards.
