Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Columbus, OH)

About the role

Immuta is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own critical infrastructure systems and drive automation, scalability, and observability across its cloud platform. The role involves hands‑on problem solving, architectural decision‑making, and mentoring junior engineers while supporting production reliability through an on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure initiatives that improve platform scalability, reliability, monitoring, and automation.
• Design and implement observability solutions to enhance incident detection and response.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to embed reliability best practices into development workflows.
• Develop and maintain internal tools, platforms, and workflows that streamline software delivery.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rotation and provide timely incident resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of SRE processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a systems or site reliability engineer in cloud environments.
• Strong background in building and operating large‑scale, highly available infrastructure.
• Proven ability to automate operational tasks and improve platform resiliency.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Snowflake, Databricks, and Starburst technologies.
• Infrastructure automation and observability tools.
