Senior Product Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to own a product space end‑to‑end at Credit Genie, a mobile‑first financial wellness platform. You will shape the experience for a large, ambiguous area, guiding it from discovery through launch and post‑launch iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product space, driving discovery, design, shipping and iteration with minimal supervision.
• Break down ambiguous problems into clear, sequenced bets and align the team on the problem before proposing solutions.
• Set the craft bar, deciding when “good enough” is sufficient versus when a solution must be perfect.
• Shape and evolve the design system, creating new components and retiring outdated ones.
• Apply the appropriate design methodology—scrappy for speed, thorough for high‑stakes, regulated fintech work.
• Influence the product roadmap by linking design decisions to business strategy.
• Act as a trusted cross‑functional advisor, building alignment across product, engineering, brand and research.
• Craft and deliver clear narratives and presentations for peers and leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as the most senior designer in a team, comfortable making high‑impact decisions.
• Strong ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, regulated fintech environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills with product, engineering, brand and research partners.
• Clear communication and storytelling abilities to convey complex design work.
