Senior Principal – Operational Consumer Products, Retail and Logistics

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Senior Principal to lead and grow its Consumer Products, Retail and Logistics practice across the United States. The role combines strategic client relationship management with hands‑on delivery of large‑scale consulting engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with senior and C‑level client executives, representing client interests and influencing outcomes.
• Identify and create multi‑million‑dollar opportunities within existing and new accounts using industry knowledge and Infosys service offerings.
• Provide intellectual leadership across project portfolios, monitor progress, intervene in critical situations, and ensure delivery of promised business value.
• Lead proposal development, articulate differentiators, craft financial models, and present compelling value propositions.
• Drive contract negotiations, assess win probability, and secure internal approvals for timely deal closure.
• Support and mentor engagement leads, resolve escalated issues, and guide talent management within the practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience at senior consulting levels within Consumer Products, Retail or Logistics sectors.
• Strong track record of managing C‑level relationships and delivering large, complex engagements.
• Ability to generate new business opportunities and lead proposal and negotiation processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
