Senior Planner Buyer

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Planner Buyer to ensure that direct and indirect materials are ordered and stocked to meet quality and manufacturing requirements while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. The role supports uninterrupted production operations and timely delivery of finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Collect information on raw material, component and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
• Manage and maintain raw material inventory in line with inventory entitlement models.
• Coordinate material planning and purchasing activities to support production.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material planning, purchasing or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering and production specifications.
• Understanding of quality, manufacturing and environmental requirements.
