Senior Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

About the role

The Factory Senior Manufacturing Excellence (ME) Specialist actively supports the implementation of the Local Leadership Team (LLT) improvement strategy. Acting as the centre of expertise for TPM and industrial performance, the role is a member of the local leadership team and accelerates the execution of the autonomy development plan across the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑develop the LLT improvement strategy, including loss analysis and external benchmarks.
• Provide alignment and cascade the execution plan across the Production Department.
• Partner with the LLT to define execution plans covering NCE rollout, digital and capex enablers, key improvement projects and competency‑building activities.
• Ensure proper governance and routines at LLT level, conduct floor visits to assess maturity, and guide corrective actions.
• Develop critical competencies within LLT members, train and coach on system competences, and manage competence of the ME team and Focused Improvement Technicians.
• Build a pipeline of potential ME specialists from internal talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1‑3 years working with factory management and leadership teams, supporting cross‑functional development.
• 1‑3 years active involvement in Goal Alignment/TPM implementation.
• Experience with line labour standards, budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies.
• Proven ability to lead improvement projects, conduct loss analysis and apply problem‑solving tools.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills using Power BI and Excel.
• Problem‑solving capabilities.
• Basic understanding of change management.
• Competence with the Continuous Improvement Guide (CIG).
• Project management competence.
• Understanding of basic finance and value creation.
