About the role

Partnering with the VP of Human Resources, the Senior Manager HR Business Partner drives the people strategy for J.Crew’s corporate workforce, focusing on Shared Services and Product & Sourcing units. This strategic collaborator ensures HR initiatives align with business objectives and fosters meaningful change across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to advance talent management, performance management, succession planning, DEI, and change management.
• Serve as a strategic advisor on people‑related decisions, providing forward‑thinking guidance on organizational and talent implications.
• Coach and develop business partners to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Identify and recommend solutions for talent, organizational, and workforce challenges.
• Lead implementation of company‑wide HR programs, ensuring relevance and alignment with business goals.
• Drive talent planning processes and assess organizational health, diagnosing risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Champion organizational values and culture, acting as the HR expert for employee relations, compliance, and policy interpretation.
• Monitor retail industry trends to provide timely insights and strategic recommendations.
