Senior Electrical BIM/VDC Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a senior Electrical BIM/VDC professional to lead the technical side of a new recruiting service for U.S. electrical contractors. The role starts as a four‑week fractional project (10–20 hours/week) and may evolve into a longer‑term fractional or full‑time leadership position. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical requirements for electrical BIM modelers, senior coordinators and team leads.
• Train recruiters on BIM/VDC terminology, software, project types and relevant experience.
• Build résumé and portfolio screening standards and develop technical interview questions, evaluation criteria and scorecards.
• Design a practical Revit/Navisworks candidate assessment and review shortlisted portfolios.
• Grade technical assessments, calibrate candidate quality and help establish market‑based compensation benchmarks.
• Identify the first 3–5 candidates ready to present to U.S. electrical contractors.
• Create a repeatable technical recruiting process that can scale.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in electrical BIM/VDC within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and Navisworks for electrical modeling.
• Experience designing technical assessment tools and interview frameworks.
• Ability to train non‑technical recruiters and translate technical concepts into hiring criteria.
• Familiarity with market compensation benchmarks for electrical BIM talent.
