Senior Data Scientist – Loyalty Platform

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Loyalty group. You will help build scalable, high‑performance data platforms that enable personalized card‑linked offers for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy machine‑learning models that address business use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in distributed environments.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all systems.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to measure impact of data‑driven solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Deploy models into production, monitor performance, and iterate as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Multiple years of professional experience in data science and/or data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning, statistical techniques, and large‑scale data processing.
