Senior Application Engineer

About the role

Join a global team of innovative 3Mers as a Senior Application Engineer. You will lead the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of applications that support third‑party enrichment, address validation, data matching, and data quality operations across master data environments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical SME for enrichment workflows (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet), Loqate, and MatchIt engines.
• Own end‑to‑end application functionality, integration, performance, and reliability.
• Analyze data quality issues, matching logic, and address validation rules, implementing improvements.
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives aligned with MDM requirements.
• Provide L4‑level technical direction for complex escalated issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain application components using Java, Python, APIs, and SQL.
• Support data transformation, batch processing, and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
• Lead or contribute to technical workstreams within projects, including S/4 readiness and future MDM hub initiatives.
• Coordinate global testing, validation, and release activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading application development and technical teams in a senior capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex data quality issues.
• Experience working with master data management (MDM) environments and third‑party data enrichment services.
• Ability to develop project plans and provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams.
