Senior Analyst, Finance

About the role

You will be responsible for global revenue accounting, preparing journal entries, reconciliations and analyzing revenue trends. The position works closely with senior finance leadership and FP&A teams in a global investment management firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for global revenues in accordance with US GAAP.
• Analyze revenue results, identify drivers and communicate variances across business units.
• Support strategic initiatives and software implementations related to revenue processes.
• Identify risk areas, propose and implement improvements while maintaining controls.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and review offshore revenue recognition and invoicing.
• Document accounting and AUM reporting processes and provide post‑transition support for the shared service center.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience, preferably in record‑to‑report at an investment manager or public accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX requirements and control environments.
• Strong general‑ledger experience including period‑end close and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• CPA designation or candidacy preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Oracle Financials (preferred).
