Senior Accounting Reviewer – QuickBooks Online

About the role

We are a growing U.S.-based accounting firm seeking a Senior Accounting Reviewer with strong QuickBooks Online expertise. You will support our internal team by reviewing and correcting bookkeeping work prepared by junior staff, ensuring high‑quality financial records for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review books prepared by junior bookkeepers and identify inconsistencies.
• Correct accounting errors and post or adjust journal entries.
• Handle complex transactions such as loans, accounts receivable, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Answer team questions on accounting treatment and ensure books are clean for reporting.
• Contribute to improving bookkeeping quality and internal review processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Experience working with U.S.-based companies and U.S. accounting practices.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles beyond simple categorization.
• Proven ability to review, correct, and explain journal entries and adjustments.
• Comfortable working with messy or incomplete books and solving complex problems.
