Scientific Strategy Lead – Oncology

About the role

Ataraxis AI is looking for a senior leader to shape the scientific strategy for expanding its oncology AI platform beyond breast cancer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define and execute the roadmap for new cancer indications, turning early scientific work into launch‑ready products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the scientific expansion into a new cancer type, from hypothesis generation to model validation.
• Build and manage relationships with clinical leaders, advisors, and research collaborators.
• Coordinate with data, partnership, engineering, and research teams to secure resources and deliver first‑in‑class models.
• Develop the scientific foundation and launch plan for the new indication.
• Represent Ataraxis AI in scientific forums and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Relentless drive and ability to obtain resources without waiting for hand‑offs.
• Proven track record of independent project ownership and loop‑closing.
• Strong scientific fluency – comfortable discussing clinical studies, translational science, and oncology research.
• Excellent networking and relationship‑building skills with clinicians and researchers.
