Sales Representative (Health Insurance Frontline)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative (also called a Fronter) to be the first point of contact for prospective health‑insurance clients. Working in an office environment in Melville, NY, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, qualify serious prospects, and warm‑transfer them to licensed agents.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries from potential health‑insurance customers.
• Engage prospects in friendly, professional conversations to assess interest and eligibility.
• Ask qualifying questions, explain next steps in the enrollment process, and filter out unqualified leads.
• Accurately document call outcomes and customer information in the CRM system.
• Warm‑transfer or schedule qualified prospects with licensed sales agents.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, call scripts, and data‑privacy standards.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity and qualification targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods.
• Ability to build quick rapport and handle objections professionally.
• Organized, reliable, goal‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude, coachable, and interested in growing into a licensed insurance role.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience using a CRM system (training provided).
