Sales Development Representative – Chains (South Valley)

About the role

The Off‑Premise Sales Development Representative (SDR) position offers accelerated, on‑the‑job training for individuals eager to start a career in sales. Based in the South Valley region, you will support chain accounts, drive sales, and execute promotions across Studio City, Burbank, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks and nearby areas.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts daily, following an efficient routing pattern.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting display ideas, new products, cold‑box, shelf, back‑bar placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Enhance brand visibility using current point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments and process checks where permissible.
• Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand portfolios.
• Address customer issues, coordinate deliveries in extenuating circumstances, and refer concerns to management.
• Analyze pricing and product programming information monthly to meet sales and merchandising objectives.
• Complete required surveys for national account compliance.
• Manage account receivables, process credits/returns, and follow up on aged balances.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to stay informed on company and supplier updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
• Basic PC proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs.
