About the role
The Rigger III/Specialist will join Oceaneering Marine Services Division, a company with over 30 years of experience in submarine and surface ship repairs. Working in a SUBSAFE and DSS‑SOC certified environment, the role involves independent rigging tasks on assets that operate in demanding conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, set up, maintain and operate various rigging equipment and hand tools without supervision.
- Select appropriate rigging gear, calculate weight, size, safety and interference, and execute safe rigging operations on marine assets.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum eight years of military or civilian rigging experience, preferably within a repair department or shipyard.
- Ability to pass knowledge and practical skills tests and obtain overhead crane, CDL, forklift, and SUBSAFE qualifications.
Required skills
- Rigging equipment operation.
- Hand tool usage.

- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
