Resource Development Intern

About the role

The Resource Development Intern will join VisionFund’s Resource Development & Management team to support funding acquisition and portfolio diversification. Working remotely, you will assist in grant writing, funding research, and reporting for the FAST program, gaining exposure to micro‑finance and international development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and assist in drafting Institutional grant proposals.
• Map and identify potential new institutional funders.
• Support reporting for the FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings Group Transformation) program.
• Help collect and analyse data for customized FAST donor reports.
• Coordinate with field teams and global staff to ensure accurate communication and reporting.
• Learn and apply GIS tools for mapping and data analysis.
• Receive technical training on the FAST product.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate interested in international development and micro‑finance.
• Strong research and written communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
