Research Field Technician – Horticulture

About the role

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture seeks a Research Field Technician to support horticulture and plant pathology programs. Working under Program Technicians, you will assist with field and greenhouse operations that advance specialty‑crop research.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare research sites, plant specialty crops, and manage irrigation and nutrient applications.
• Harvest crops and maintain greenhouse-grown varieties.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures in the plant pathology lab.
• Assist in the management of resources and research projects related to horticulture and plant pathology.

Required profile
