About the role
The University of Tulsa seeks a Research Assistant to support petroleum engineering research projects. The role involves operating laboratory facilities, processing data, and collaborating with faculty and research associates.
Key responsibilities
- Operate required facilities and acquire experimental data.
- Assist research associates and faculty in enhancing computer programs for data processing.
- Organize technical meetings as required by the project.
- Write technical reports based on analysis of results.
- Make technical presentations for project sponsors.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in petroleum engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience with Python and MATLAB programming languages.
- Knowledge of fluid flow in pipes.
- Valid OPT card or eligibility to work in the United States.
