Remote Consultative Pharmacist (TN/PA)

About the role

Dragonfly Health is seeking a Remote Consultative Pharmacist to provide clinical review and consultation on medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations for patients across Tennessee and Pennsylvania. This role supports the company’s mission to deliver high‑quality, home‑based healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical review of medication requests, ensuring therapy appropriateness, dosing, and safety based on evidence‑based guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify prescriptions and recommend alternative therapies when needed.
• Support complex case reviews and appeals with accurate clinical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Educate internal teams on formulary management, utilization review, and pharmacy policy updates.

Required profile

• R.Ph required; PharmD preferred.
• Full, current, unrestricted pharmacist license in PA, TN, and/or OH (ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in retail, hospital, or managed‑care settings (preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical, and consultative abilities.
