About the role

Join Cedars‑Sinai as a Registered Nurse on the Postpartum unit, working 12‑hour night shifts. You will provide comprehensive care to new mothers and their newborns in a Magnet‑designated hospital, with a $5,000 hiring incentive to welcome you aboard.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and document direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and hygiene.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Administer medications and therapeutic agents as prescribed.
• Perform or assist with procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Observe and assess signs, symptoms, and reactions to determine normal versus abnormal conditions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Initiate emergency procedures when indicated and follow standardized reporting protocols.
• Deliver culturally competent care to diverse patient populations.
• Delegate duties to non‑licensed personnel within scope of practice.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or higher preferred.
• Current California State RN license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Specialty certification required or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Minimum three years recent acute RN experience in a specialty area.
