Registered Nurse – Neonatal ICU

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This full‑time, on‑site position provides direct care to critically ill newborns and supports their families in a collaborative hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate and support families regarding infant care, treatment procedures, and discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced NICU setting.
