Registered Nurse – Hospital Medicine (H6)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Hospital Medicine team in the H6 unit. This full‑time, onsite position provides direct patient care in a fast‑paced inpatient environment, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based treatment to diverse patient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical education activities.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
