Registered Nurse – EP Cardiology Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the EP Cardiology Clinic at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The RN will provide direct patient care within a fast‑paced cardiology environment, supporting physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiology patients, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, procedures, and post‑discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Current or former employee of the University of Arkansas System, or eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Arkansas RN license.
• Experience in acute care or cardiology nursing preferred.
• Ability to work day shift hours.
