Regional Director of Operations

About the role

The Regional Director of Operations will lead a network of approximately 12 dental practices across Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee. Managing more than 22 providers and $27 million in annual revenue, the role focuses on operational efficiency, financial performance and regulatory compliance while building strong relationships with partner doctors and practice leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly travel plans to visit direct reports and partner practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, practice leaders and office teams.
• Onboard new associates, monitor their growth and provide regular communication.
• Lead weekly field visits, addressing financials, HR/recruitment, strategic initiatives, revenue cycle, payer relations, accounts payable, procurement and marketing.
• Standardize processes, drive change management and communicate organizational vision.
• Mentor Office Managers/Practice Leaders, conduct 1:1 meetings and align development plans.
• Identify organic growth opportunities, manage costs and improve profitability.
• Oversee compliance in partnership with the compliance team and VP of Operations.
• Champion employee retention, engagement and company‑wide initiatives.
• Lead coding initiatives and align MBO goals with best practices.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably dental or medical practices.
• Proven track record managing multiple locations and teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
