Recruitment Subject Matter Expert (Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment Subject Matter Expert to help evaluate and improve AI‑driven hiring tools. The contractor will work remotely with Turing’s research and product teams to create realistic recruiting scenarios and assess AI outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Create realistic hiring and recruiting workflow scenarios for AI testing.
• Evaluate AI‑generated sourcing, screening and recruiting outputs.
• Build synthetic candidate profiles, job requisitions and scorecards.
• Identify edge cases such as duplicate applications, offer approval failures and ATS/HRIS synchronization issues.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, HR business partnering, talent acquisition operations or HR operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Workday.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Solid knowledge of recruiting workflows and hiring operations.
