Real Estate Associate – Atlanta

About the role

Join a nationally‑recognized Am Law 100 firm’s growing Atlanta real‑estate team. As a Real Estate Associate you will work on high‑value commercial transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects and leasing, collaborating with experienced partners from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases and related documentation.
• Conduct due‑diligence investigations, including title, survey and entity authorizations.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, development initiatives and commercial leasing matters.
• Coordinate with tax, finance and environmental teams on multidisciplinary deals.
• Support client counseling and communications with a solutions‑driven approach.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial real‑estate transactions.
• Member of the Georgia Bar or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Strong drafting, organizational and communication abilities.
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school with solid academic performance.
• Prior experience at a top‑tier law firm is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting purchase/sale agreements, leases and related documents.
• Experience conducting real‑estate due‑diligence reviews.
• Familiarity with coordinating multi‑disciplinary transaction teams.
