R&D Partner Technologist, Product Development

About the role

Join AVEVA's team of architects to design innovative, AI‑enabled solutions for industrial customers. You will work from Lake Forest, CA, collaborating with tech leads and cross‑functional partners to embed AI throughout solution design, development, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions using Angular, C# and AI‑enabled services.
• Act as a technical leader championing AI adoption across teams, aligning with Hypervelocity Engineering principles.
• Serve as the Azure and AI subject‑matter expert, addressing customer needs and guiding solution architecture.
• Plan and deliver intelligent cloud solutions, incorporating AI‑assisted development, automation and observability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and infrastructure teams to create production‑ready, AI‑enhanced designs and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Ensure solutions follow standards, best practices and responsible, scalable AI usage.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence AI‑driven engineering practices.
• Contribute to internal best‑practice documentation for AI‑enabled development patterns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong background in AI/ML concepts and applied AI for enterprise‑scale solutions.
• Proficiency with the Angular web‑development framework.
• Experience with multiple development languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript and HTML5.
