Quality Systems Engineer Technician (Level 3)

About the role

Join Shield AI’s quality team to embed reliability and compliance into advanced aerospace products. You will support daily quality management processes, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing, and help ensure documentation and production meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily execution of QMS processes and activities.
• Assist with maintaining procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
• Help track audit findings, corrective actions, and process updates.
• Assist engineers to ensure new products meet QMS requirements and support documentation readiness.
• Maintain document control, manage data in quality and ERP systems, and ensure accuracy of records.
• Support audit preparation, compile evidence, and participate in internal audits.
• Assist with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate QMS training and maintain training records across teams.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience in quality, manufacturing, or technical support, preferably in aerospace or a regulated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Familiarity with basic root‑cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys or Fishbone.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with document control systems and ERP systems.
• Use of quality data tracking tools.
• Training or certification in Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt).
