Quality Control Supervisor – Analytical Lab Lead

About the role

The Quality Control Supervisor leads the Analytical Laboratory team, ensuring raw materials, finished goods, and third‑party products meet the highest safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Control Services, you will drive accurate, timely testing while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory personnel to follow approved specifications, compendial methods, and testing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, FDA regulations, ISO 17025, and site safety standards.
• Manage workflow, prioritize testing, and ensure timely release or rejection of products.
• Review, analyze, and authorize laboratory results, entering data into SAP and other systems.
• Lead investigations of out‑of‑specification results and document findings.
• Coach, mentor, and develop laboratory analysts, conducting performance reviews and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, R&D, and external partners to support product disposition, stability studies, and method validations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of laboratory, quality control, or analytical testing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or consumer products.
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Analytical instrumentation such as LC, GC, ICP.
• Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and SAP.
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Data analysis and technical writing.
